Our Community Guardians are our favourite type of people. They do what we do, they preach what we preach, and they love what we love. No qualifications needed: we’re looking for people can organise, communicate well and are, most importantly, passionate.
Community Guardians are the voice of Planet Patrol in local communities. Planet Patrol will support you to organise local litter picks, engage your community, share our messages, and encourage local businesses and governments.
Community Guardians are excellent communicators and organisers. They love the outdoors, protecting nature and want to be responsible for bringing people together to build a positive, engaging and educational atmosphere. They make a real, meaningful difference.
You have the power to lead the way forward and we would LOVE to have you involved – and here’s how…
If you are a uni student and would like to get involved, we will be opening applications for our University Ambassador programme at the end of November. Email us and we will let you know once applications open!
Please note that the agreement that you will sign during the application process will only commence when Planet Patrol provides confirmation to you that you have passed the screening process and have been accepted as a Community Guardian.
Check out our Community Guardian handbook to understand our expectations of you, and what you can expect from us. If you’re a fitness/yoga/SUP/canoe instructor, go to our ‘Become a Rep’ page here. Our Community Guardians do not need any qualifications. You can also find out more about being a Community Guardian by reading our blog!
Now that you’ve been accepted, we will send you your toolkit with everything you need to kickstart your new movement. We will also organise delivery of our branded clean up equipment.
Enter your email below and you’ll receive a link to download the report.
