What does a community guardian do?

Here’s just a few ways you can be involved as a Community Guardian volunteer, tap or roll over the boxes for more information.

On patrol

Take charge of organising and leading litter picks in your local area. You will play a crucial role in creating a litter-free community and also collecting valuable litter data that we can use as evidence to demand change from the top down.

Water testing

We’ll give you the tools to test water quality as well as encouraging others to do the same, supporting other volunteers in your local community to conduct regular sampling and data collection

Get social

Take charge of the local Facebook page to share regular updates, create events and bring your community together

Spread the word

Help us spread the word about Planet Patrol and the opportunities available to take action through citizen science. From leading a school assembly to running a stall at your local festival- whatever’s your jam
