Have you ever thought your University could do more to reduce its environmental footprint?
Maybe you’re an individual looking to gain valuable skills and experience for your own career development? Or perhaps you’re a member of a club, society or department on the search for meaningful volunteer opportunities? Whatever it is, we’d love you to join our Uni Network, to engage students at your university in our mission to tackle litter pollution.
Your involvement will help to spread the message about what we do, and have a real, positive impact on your local area and community.
What it would mean to be part of our Uni Network:
- Organise and lead litter picks for other students within your university.
- Become an admin for your university’s Planet Patrol Facebook group to keep other students informed about clean-up activities and taster sessions, news and local updates.
- Create lasting connections with other societies, clubs and departments within your university, with the potential to connect with other unis too!
- Encourage and support local cafes, bars and restaurants to take the Planet Patrol business pledge to reduce waste – coming in early 2021!
- Gain essential skills and valuable experience that can help towards your personal career development.
