We are proud to share that Planet Patrol has joined 1% for the Planet as an Environmental Partner. 

1% for the Planet is a global movement that inspires businesses to go beyond business as usual – supporting environmental solutions and protecting people and the planet. The programme acts as an accountability partner for companies committed to donating resources towards organisations delivering measurable environmental impact across the globe. 

Established in 2002 by Yvon Chouinard, founder of Patagonia, and Craig Mathews, founder of Blue Ribbon Flies, 1% for the Planet brings together businesses that commit to donating at least 1% of their annual sales to environmental causes around the world. To date, the programme has directed $690 million USD in certified impact to environmental non-profits worldwide (correct at time of publication). 

Environmental Partners are rigorously vetted organisations and programmes whose work aligns with impact areas set out by 1% for the Planet. As an Environmental Partner, Planet Patrol is now eligible to receive support to tackle pollution in our green and blue spaces through community action, citizen science, and evidence-led campaigning. Being part of this global network will help us to scale our impact – strengthening the data that holds polluters to account and accelerating lasting environmental change.

Planet Patrol joins over 7000 other environmental partners represented across 114 countries within the 1% for the Planet network.
